Show up for Dom Strong on September 20 and take steps that fund brain tumor research.
This is an invitation, and a challenge. On September 20, 2026, Team Dom Strong walks the New York Brain Tumor Walk at Jones Beach Field 5 in Wantagh, New York. It is approximately 3.1 miles, and every step funds research into better treatments for brain tumors.
Here is the reason behind the team name. Dominick Coppola has spent the past year facing his battle with a brain tumor, and he has been overwhelmed by the kindness, encouragement, and support of his family, the All American team, and the wider community. He wants to give back for all the support he has been shown, and we want to help him do it.
The walk brings together patients, families, friends, and supporters who are all fighting for the same thing: a cure, better treatments, and hope for everyone confronting this disease.
We know life gets busy. We know a Sunday in September has a thousand other things competing for your time. But this is one of those moments where showing up actually changes things. Your registration funds research. Your presence encourages a family. Your example inspires someone else to register too. The route is family-friendly, and walkers of every fitness level take part. Kids activities run all morning, and the walk starts at 9:30 am. Bring a stroller, bring your grandparents. The point is not the pace, it is the presence. And if you cannot walk, come anyway. Cheer, volunteer, donate. The team is built on all of it.
