My name is KalliRay, and I am a proud graduate of Boaz High School! This fall, I will be attending Jacksonville State University to pursue a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. My dream is to become a kindergarten teacher and create a positive, encouraging environment where children can learn, grow, and feel valued.

I have always loved being around little kids, and I truly believe there is no better job than being surrounded by some of the happiest, most curious people every day. Teachers play such an important role in shaping children’s lives, not only academically but emotionally and socially as well.

As I begin this next chapter, I hope to make a lasting difference in the lives of my future students by creating a classroom filled with learning, laughter, and support. I am excited for the journey ahead and look forward to impacting many young lives in a positive way.

Sunshine, warm breezes, and sweet treats are on the way… which means it’s almost time for Funky Monkey to swing back open! ☀️🍦🐒

We’ve missed serving up your favorite shaved ice, ice cream, and smiles all winter long, and we are getting everything ready behind the scenes for another fun season! With pretty weather just around the corner, we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for those first refreshing treats of the year.

Today marks our final day of the season here at Funky Monkey Boaz at 6 PM — and what a sweet and unforgettable season it’s been! 🥰

From your smiling faces and kindness to all the laughter and fun you’ve shared with us, we just want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support. We have met some amazing people — you’ve made this year truly special! 💕
