Had some great strand feeding this morning!—————————————Strand feeding is a unique hunting technique used by some Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, particularly those in the Lowcountry region of South Carolina and Georgia. It involves dolphins herding fish onto sandy shores or mudflats, then launching themselves out of the water to feed on the stranded prey. This behavior is a learned adaptation and is observed in a few specific locations worldwide.

Fun fact: Unlike many other jellyfish, cannonball jellyfish lack long, trailing tentacles around the edge of their bell and are easily handled.
