Got my little mini me out fishing this week/ weekend and had a blast with him. If he could fish everyday he would. Mom thought we’d only be out for hour or two and he stayed out fishing from 12- sunset and still wants to go again. He can also tie jigs pretty good for a 4 year old.

Always great to get out with Clint Pettigrew aka The Fly Guy had to do a lot of sorting but got a decent little mess.

Been a very fun start to my year last few weeks, was able to stag fishing december 9th First photo is a personal best gill at 10.5/10.75 didn’t have my board to measure Then some pictures of messes that have The Fly Guyrom customers/ family friends that used my jigs. Also landed a huge catfish on 2lb test line on my The Fly Guy rod.

Well this morning was it for me for the year been an amazing year and had so much fun with my friends and family. My 3 year old absolutely loves the fish and is my littler helper cleaning them. He gets them outa the sink for me as i fillet them and is always excited when i come home from fishing. Was so happy to get both the boys out on the ice thisnyear for the first time Wish I had photos of the rest of the fish we caught this year but didnt get one every time out. The 5lb bass was my favorite catch this year on 3lb test on one of my bluegill jigs. Hope everyone one else has a great year fishing. If you decide to venture out in the coming days be safe and have a spud. The lake we were in this morning has 12” of ice last Wednesday and today it only had at most 5” of black ice. Now it can warm up so I can get the boat out.

Last few days have been a blast out on the ice. Didn’t get photos of the first day out but we had a mess then as well. Still been a tough bite but a lot better than last week.
