Fable Made will be wrapping up our Parksley storefront at the end of this month and returning to our roots — online + curated pop-ups.

What started as a small idea grew into shelves filled with books we loved, gifts we handpicked, and a space built with real intention. We’re proud of what we created here.

Hoping this is just a misunderstanding…

At Fable Made, we believe in community, honesty, and respect for the magic of small businesses. Unfortunately, someone walked out with The Book of Japanese Folklore without paying. Accidents happen, and we truly hope this wasn’t intentional or malicious.

If you have the book—or know who does—please bring it back or pay for it. We do have security footage, but we’d much rather believe this was just a mistake and give the person a chance to make it right.

We appreciate the honesty and support of our wonderful customers and trust that the right thing will be done. Thank you for helping us keep Fable Made a place of integrity and good energy!
