🤩 This returning customers was interested in trying out these reusable laundry soap nuts from Nepal. They are a plant based detergent and fabric softener for both regular and high efficiency machines. Another plus is they are naturally hypoallergenic and free of fragrance, dye, phosphate, and cruelty!

🤩 This customer was excited to find this beautiful basket from Ghana, West Aftica. Made from eco friendly natural materials and ethically produced, this purchase will improve the livelihood of local weavers in Africa.

🤩 Chocolate lovers are some of our most frequent customers. The most delicious chocolate in the world is chocolate that is ethically made. That's why fair trade chocolate tastes so good: farmers around the world receive fair prices for their cacao beans and can support themselves and their families free from exploitation.

The internet said today is Black Cat Appreciation Day so let's celebrate! Today we're celebrating black cats and the artisans who craft these one-of-a-kind pieces. Our black cat measuring spoons, coordinating mug, and paw-print socks from Conscious Steps are handmade with care, just like every fair trade item at Crossroads.

We've sustained a bit of damage after our sign crashed into the window with yesterday's weather. So unfortunately we will be closed today and hope to be open again tomorrow! We are extremely grateful to our downtown neighbors who jumped in to help us get the sign down and the window boarded up. 🙏🏾 As a thank you, we of course sent them home with some delicious fair trade chocolate 🍫.

Time flies when you're having fun! It's been a busy summer, and we're so excited to see many of you out and about enjoying the joys of the downtown construction enhancements. We hope to see many more of you in store soon - and who knows you just might be one of our customer highlights 🤩

😍 These first time customers were excited about the choices of journals from Mr. Ellie Pooh. All of their paper products are 100% recycled. They consist of 30% elephant dung fiber and 70% recycled paper. No trees or toxic chemicals are used in their paper making process. They use only all-natural vegetative binding agents and water-soluble salt dyes for coloring. Mr. Ellie Pooh’s papers are handmade, acid-free, and as organic as possible!

😍 When our out of town customers share that they want to make sure Crossroads is a part of their visit, it warms our hearts. This trip included a beautiful nightlight with wildflowers. Crafted in Ecuador from reclaimed glass, this fair trade night light is both beautiful and ethically made.

😍 These are more out of town customers who were excited to find this 3 pack of olive oils. These Extra Hopeful, Extra Peaceful, and Extra Unified Olive Oils are produced by a female led non profit consisting of Arab and Jewish women who share a vision of peaceful coexistence. They work towards this goal side by side with skill, care, and a passion for the craft.
