Had an issue with a '96 Gibby 335. No volume at the neck position. Had to pull the harness and replace the pot, Lots of work, got 'er done!

So the Kittyhawk had several cold solder connections which were quickly reflowed, tested, and the amp was properly biased. Burned in and played for about 3.5 hrs., all is working fine at this point. Off now to set up two PRS custom 24's, and change a pot on a gibson 335 (fun stuff!)

Just finished rewiring a Gibson Custom Shop Peter Frampton LP. Push-push on the neck tone to split between neck and middle pups, special taper A500 pots to replace the linear taper crap originally installed, clean up fu**ed up wiring of the original. All grounded properly and quiet. What was Gibby thinking on this one???? OMG!!

Just installed a pair of GFS pickups in a squire '51. A crunchy rails in the bridge and a l'il killer in the neck. They sound and respond perfectly, what value for the money! Also did the "Bubba Mod" on the bridge, compensated saddles,...perfect. Love the neck profile. Installed a 3 way switch to replace the rotary, as well as wiring the push-pull on the volume to work with both p'ups, does a nice Tele thing. Fret level, crown and we are there. Lot of improvement for not a lot of $$$$
