Here's a winter project I just got around to taking pictures of. This is a 1999 (?) Klein Stage Comp that was re-built with modern components including Shimano Tiagra 2x10 drivetrain and brakes. The whole bike was stripped down to the frame, cleaned/greased/polished and re-built. Only original parts are frame, fork, wheels and seatpost. Super impressed with how intact the paint job is for a 20+ year old bike, a little cleaning and polish got it looking like new.

Full overhaul done on this 2017 Surly Pugsley just in time for winter!

This bike got all new cables/housing, brake pads, tubes and chain. It was stripped down to the frame to clean, polish, re-apply frame saver, and grease everything. Looks and rides like new!

What do you do when you can't find your perfect bike in stock? Buy used and upgrade!

That's exactly what we did for this Specialized Fatboy. The 2x10 SRAM X5 drivetrain was replaced with Shimano SLX 1x12 derailleur and shifter paired with a SRAM 11-50 cassette. We were able to save the customer time and money by using the stock 2x crankset with a new chainring instead of replacing the whole crank and bottom bracket. Had to use some spacers but the chain-line ended up being perfect (check out the last pic)!

On top of that the brakes were upgraded from Tektro mechanical disc brakes to SRAM Level hydraulics. It's like a whole new bike!
