The Bland County Farmers Market has certified commercial scales available FREE for vendors to use every Saturday!

Under Virginia Law: Any fruits, vegetables, baked goods, or other products sold by weight must be weighed using a certified commercial scale. Produce sold by count, bunch, or pre-packaged do not require a scale at the time of sale.

To help our vendors stay compliant with Virginia Law, the Bland County Farmers Market provides certified scales at no cost during every market.

Whether you're a seasoned vendor or just getting started, we're here to help make selling at the market simple, professional, and compliant with Virginia's Weights and Measures requirements.
