Offered for sale is a 1959 Austin-Healey 100-6 BN6, the desirable two-seat roadster model produced for only a short period between 1958–1959. With just about 4,150 BN6 cars built, these Healeys are becoming increasingly collectible and are widely considered the purest version of the 100-6 thanks to their short cockpit and long rear deck sports-car design.
Finished in beautiful Healey Blue over Old English White, this car has the classic look that made the Austin-Healey one of the most iconic British sports cars ever produced. The car sits on knock-off wire-spoke wheels and has the unmistakable Healey stance that always turns heads at shows and cruises.
Powered by the legendary 2.6L BMC C-Series inline-six engine, paired with a 4-speed manual transmission with overdrive, the car runs and drives well and delivers the authentic vintage British roadster experience.
This is a late-production 1959 BN6, chassis number BN6-L/3631, built very near the end of BN6 production. Late BN6 cars are desirable because they typically feature the improved 6-port cylinder head, offering better engine breathing and performance.
