Dahlias in full bloom right now! The one on the left is a fresh bloom - the one on the right the same variety that’s in the process of drying. I love the color and texture changes as they dry. Great petals to use in my creations!

Testing out a canopy with the help of my better half! Finally ready for my first event this Saturday. Will have a booth for Heritage Day from 10 am - 3 pm at the Montgomery Museum and Lewis Miller Art Center. Wish me luck and if you’re in the area stop by and say hi!

One of my cards using a home grown sunflower. Trying to use all components of a flower - the pollen was used to color the background yellow.

My birth flower is the carnation. Always love the fragrance and that they last a long time. Carnations also dry well for my work!
