I’ve been noodling over this idea for a while, and local graduation party time feels like the perfect time to give it a try!

I’ve used my floral stand for classes and events, but trialing it becoming a Flower-by-the-Stem Bar!

Pick your favorite stems and build your own bouquet—whether it’s for your graduate, a teacher, a host, or just because flowers make people happy.

I’m excited to see if this catches on and, even more, to see all the beautiful bouquets you create! 🌸 Flowers are fresh, a season medley of both popular and unique flowers/greens.
The last pic of this post is of our first sale of this kind- a bouquet that Haley handpicked flowers for a graduation party! 💐 is located within beautiful, House & Hazel, in Maple Valley along with two other small, women-owned businesses, Branches Book Nook and York Patty Homemade. 💐

Last night, I met Lauren and her friends at House & Hazel, and somewhere between the laughter and plant shopping, this spiky little cactus found its forever home. 🌵 🏡
Lauren immediately named him Spike, and when she told me she’s a project manager, we couldn’t stop laughing about how she’d now be managing Spike’s
watering schedule too.
Moments like these are exactly why I love owning my small local business, . It’s never just about selling plants-it’s about meeting wonderful people, sharing a few laughs, and sending home something that will make them smile long after they leave.

Our first Bunnies & Brunch event at House and Hazel was one to remember!
Our local 4-H brought the cutest rabbits (and even a duck 🦆 this year!), and we loved welcoming so many new faces into the shop.
From women’s clothing and home décor to handmade clothing for littles by York Patty , to books 📚 at Branches Book Nook , and, all things plant & garden 🪴 related at curated garden market, -there was truly something for everyone.
We’re looking forward to this event next 🐰💕
