This weeks hours will be much different than what we normally have so please take note. Due to the passing of my moms dear friend (and our special friend Mr Joe Ray) we will be altering our hours so that we may participate in the funeral activities. Hours are :
Monday 9-3:00 -August 17th
Tuesday -Closed all day -August 18th
Wednesday 9-5 -August 19th
Thursday 9-5 -August 20th
Friday 9-5 -August 21st
We will be back to normal schedule next week.

It is with deepest sympathy that we share the passing of Mr Joe Ray! Joe was a special part of my personal family as he and my mom were companions for over 6 years. Joe was a giving person and he always had a pretty smile. He was a hard worker all his life. He was always included in our family events where he often told my mom he loved coming over to my house and being with her family. Last Sunday he came to a small surprise birthday party for me. Sure wish we had talked a little bit more.
There will be a visitation for him on Monday 5-7:00 at Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home and a graveside service on Tuesday at 11:00 at Piedmont Cemetery. His full obituary can be read on the HEH webpage. Please keep this family and my mom (Mrs Olene) in your prayers. Joe will certainly be missed.
We will be altering our work schedule this week so please keep checking on here for updates. We will post those as soon as we decide what we need to do!

The Little Florist would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Zellon Jackson. There will be a visitation for him on Friday 3:00-5:00 at the funeral home and a Celebration of life on Saturday 2:00 at the Mt Pleasant AME Church. Good morning! It’s another sad day in our town. So many things! Although it’s what we do, it’s never a pleasure to serve a family that is struggling with loss especially when that loss - should not have been! All I can do is offer some comfort on this side with some empty words but always a hug meant to say “ I’m sorry and I’m trying to understand with you”! We try to share some of God’s love around here. Cause that’s what He would do!
I know all that was some rambling words but it’s just hard to be a little upbeat today.
but just know we are always here not just for flowers but as people that love all and will try and be a comfort to all! May God bless and protect our little town of all the people we love. ❤️‍🩹

Good morning! It has been some busy days around the shop with trying to get the shop into shape for the upcoming holidays! We have spent the last two weeks moving things around and restyling the shop. Getting ready for more new merchandise to make your shopping experiences more enjoyable here at The Little Florist! I’ve got a beautiful addition to post today! I just love!
With all of that said- we also would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Ms Shaquander Mixon. There will be a visitation for her on Saturday 1:00-3:00 at the funeral home and a funeral service will be on Sunday at 1:00 at Lee Central High School. Norton Funeral Home in Bishopville is serving the family. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers during this time of loss. A full obituary will be available on the Norton website soon.
The shop is open today 9-5! We look forward to seeing and serving you! Flowers are available in our cash and carry cooler all day!

Good morning! Y’all it’s gonna be a really hot one today! Please be careful if you must be outside. I love summer but this is a little much! However, it’s cool inside the shop! We have been working hard around the shop, changing up some things and getting ready for new merchandise. (chat GPT and it’s great ideas are gonna get me in trouble)! But we needed a change and we are slowly implementing that!
Don’t forget our cash and carry cooler is stocked and ready for someone special. Give us a call or come by for something to make someone’s day! We are open today 9-5. Remember we are still on summer schedule until after Labor Day. Have a great day today and we hope to see you soon!

Good morning. I wanted to make a happy post this morning- since I had a very nice weekend celebrating my 60th birthday! And I may do that later but it seems hard to do that when we have a lot of pain in our community this morning from losses that had no place here! I’d just like to say that let’s all keep people affected by this weekend’s tragedy in prayer. Prayer is our comfort and that’s all that will get us through tough times. Our Lord is our comfort and He is our strength and our refuge in times of trouble! Wrap your arms around those you love and hold them tighter!
May God bless our community this day!
