Top 10 Tips for Fall Landscape

1. Remember your lawn; it still needs fertilizer and regular maintenance, such as mowing.

2. Neighbors; remember the holiday season brings family and friends to your neighborhood. Do your part to keep your yard picked up ( and hopefully your neighbors will too!)

3. Mulch; Mulch actually is much better in the fall and winter, than the springtime. Keep those plants outside mulched well, and protected from the elements.

4. Plant spring blooming bulbs now for spring color.

6. Protect your tools. As demands for several types of landscape equipment ease up, make sure your tools are protected.

7. Clean up dead material now.

8. Plan in advance to move your outdoor plants you want to keep alive for the winter, indoors.

9. Rake, Rake, Rake. Keep fallen leaves raked so they want choke your lawn.

10. Develop a longterm plan for your landscape taste, and get organized to get your plan executed.
