Just arrived at Price House Antiques & Books!
A beautiful three-volume NONESUCH PRESS edition of the King James Bible and Apocrypha published in London around 1963 with gilt decoration on the spines and cover and historical woodcuts throughout.

The Nonesuch Press became famous for producing some of the finest books of the 20th century, combining classic texts with exceptional typography, paper, and binding. This handsome set is a wonderful example of the craftsmanship that made the press so highly regarded by collectors. Their publication are highly sought after by collectors for their aesthetic appeal and scholarly value.
