Well...I guess it's time to properly introduce myself. š
I'm Leahāthe owner and designer behind Frond & Twig.
Most people find me while searching for a Birmingham wedding florist, but here's something you may not know...
I also design landscapes and gardens, and honestly, I don't think I could separate the two if I tried.
My background is in landscape horticulture, and designing outdoor spaces is just as much a part of my creative DNA as designing wedding flowers. Whether I'm creating a planting plan or a bridal bouquet, I'm always thinking about movement, texture, color, and how everything works together.
My style is rooted in timeless, traditional design, with a touch of garden romance and whimsy. Think classic elegance softened by naturally gathered blooms, graceful movement, unexpected textures, and flowers that feel like they grew there.
I want every wedding to feel refinedābut never stiff. Intentionalābut never overdone. Beautiful today, and just as beautiful decades from now.
When I'm not designing weddings around Birmingham, Alabama, I'm probably sketching a landscape, convincing myself I only opened Pinterest for five minutes (we all know that's a lie š
), or saving way too many garden photos I'll absolutely use for inspiration someday. I love getting lost in the little detailsāthey're usually where the best ideas begin.
