Sorry for the long time since my last post -- June was a wacky month for us. Lots of one=off repairs, then I took a week's vacation, followed by a trip to the beautiful campus of Penn State University, State College, PA, for the 2022 Eastern Tandem Rally. It was great to see a number of our Northeastern-based friends again. The 2-year layoff (because of Covid restrictions) seemed like forever! Let's hope the pandemic stays at the low level, and doesn't rise up again and shut us all down.

Next up -- The Midwest Tandem Rally. this year held in Decatur, IL! MTR is always held Labor Day weekend, and this year will be no different!

We hope to see many of our friends in the Midwest! Until then (and always), ride safe.

Just returned from the 2022 Ga Tandem Rally, back after missing 2 years because of Covid. It was good to see our friends and customers from all over the US. Glad to see the rallies returning. Now to stay safe and stay healthy, everyone!

Joe and Nancy -- a new team from KY -- stopped by last week, looking for a new tandem that would be just right for them. After discussing their desire to bike together, and with their young grand children, on the same bike, we decided a new Co-Motion PeriScope would be the ideal tandem for them! It's been a busy few weeks since my last post -- Kevin and Peggy, a tandem team from "up North" had stopped by in January for me to do some re-furb work on their older Cannondale. While I was working on their tandem, Kevin and Peggy were looking at new tandems and decided to add a new Co-Motion Speedster to their stable. They wanted some major changes made to the bike, and I needed to order a few additional components that I don't stock. With the delays caused by the supply-chain problems, I just finished their bike. They made a second trip to my shop, and they're now enjoying their new Co-Motion! Unfortunately, they left without me having the opportunity to snap a few pictures of their new Speedster!

Well, Southern Tandem Rally did go off without a hitch! A few sprinkles, but no driving rain. Now it's back to work in the shop to get a few new tandems out on the road for their new owneres to enjoy!

We're still here! Just working hard to make sure the Southern Tandem Rally goes off without a hitch (still time to register @ www.southerntandemrally.com). We also were out of town a few days, attending the 2021 Midwest Tandem Rally over the Labor Day weekend, and we also ran a rest stop for the 2021 Birmingham Bicycle Club Century. All in the name of helping more people enjoy tandem bike riding.
