Oh look the PA State Police PICS system is down again! Disabling sales to my small business, AGAIN. This is a redundant and unnecessary system so the state can TAX us another way with the purchase of fi****ms and have a registry of pistols, but we don't call it a registry we call it a record of sale, because a registry violates the PA State Constitution that the PA State Police Swore to uphold and protect. The jokes write themselves. There is a federal system in place that is free to use, NICS. Where does all this money go anyway? Millions of dollars where? The state claims the revenue doesnt even pay for the full $8 million dollar PICS budget. It only pays for about 49% of it. So even people that dont buy guns pay for it. Can someone with more money and time than me challenge this in court next alongside the states NFA registration requirement? Alex, I'll take things that make no fu***ng sense for $500 please.

There's a ton of buzz with the YouTubers, Silencer Shop, GOA, and all the paid talking gun heads. There is NO CHANGE to the NFA process in Pennsylvania for now and for a long time. You must still register NFA items with the Federal Government. Why? Pa Law requires you to comply with a law that was found to be unconstitutional. Until someone challenges the PA law, you must still register. See Below

18 Pa.C.S.A. § 908
§ 908. Prohibited offensive weapons

“Offensive weapons.” Any bomb, gr***de, machine gun, sawed-off shotgun with a barrel less than 18 inches, firearm specially made or specially adapted for concealment or silent discharge, any blackjack, sandbag, metal knuckles, any stun gun, stun baton, taser or other electronic or electric weapon or other implement for the infliction of serious bodily injury which serves no common lawful purpose.

(b) Exceptions.--
(1) It is a defense under this section for the defendant to prove by a preponderance of evidence that he possessed or dealt with the weapon solely as a curio or in a dramatic performance, or that, with the exception of a bomb, gr***de or incendiary device, he complied with the National Fi****ms Act (26 U.S.C. § 5801 et seq.), or that he possessed it briefly in consequence of having found it or taken it from an aggressor, or under circumstances similarly negativing any intent or likelihood that the weapon would be used unlawfully.

Meet suspect #1 in the attempted burglary here at Reading Armament. Kevin Santiago, 24 of Allentown. Kevin is currently in police custody and is being charged for 30+ felony charges unrelated to the event here. After he unsuccessfully tried breaking into my shop and fled, the next day he blew thru a stop sign hitting a bystander vehicle, killing one of the occupants and seriously injuring the other. After hiding under the porch of someone's house, he was apprehended. He also stole 15 guns from a home based FFL (Tammy and Andy's Guns.) He's also accused of multiple burglaries across Lehigh and Northampton Counties, like when he stole 2 old clapped out iPhones and $2 in cash at a small business in South Whitehall Township. What a piece of s**t. Clearly not the sharpest tool in the shed. Hopefully Kevin gets locked up for good and D Block Bubba reshapes his p**p chute to his liking.
