New Arrival! A large collection of ‘Dania’ designed by Merton Gershun for American of Martinsville in the 1960’s. The Dania line was one of American of Martinsville’s most popular collections. Known for its louvered drawer fronts, brass hardware details and walnut finish.
We are pleased to offer the large modular 5 piece chest set with mirror, Highboy dresser chest, pair of nightstands, gorgeous credenza hutch cabinet with convex glass, dining table and six dining chairs. We also have a pair of side end tables, coffee table and cabinet/bookcase available. These were all ordered together by the original owners in 1959. They were loved for 60+ years in the same home! Just in! MCM Kent Coffey credenza in walnut with rosewood accents from the Perspecta line. The Perspecta line was one of the most popular lines from the Kent Coffey catalog in the 1960’s. We love the smaller size of this one! With three drawers on the right and a cabinet with shelf on the left, there’s plenty of storage. The wood graining is gorgeous! A remarkable Streamline Art Deco style deep red and black Naugahyde upholstered seating group in the style of designer, Donald Deskey.
The six-piece set includes a wonderful tubular chrome-framed bench/chaise, a terrific pair of chrome-accented club chairs with ottomans, and a perfect matching sofa. This Donald Deskey 1930s design set was exclusively reproduced in 1981. The high-quality furniture is in excellent condition and offers exceptional comfort and durability.
Although we are fond of this set, it occupies a significant amount of space in our showroom. If you love it as much as we do, Let’s make a deal!
