This House of Books This House of Books is an independent community-owned full-service bookstore and tea room in downtown Billings, Montana.

We are an independent, co-op bookstore in the heart of downtown Billings, and the only thing we love more than reading is connecting OTHER readers with great books and their fantastic authors. Using the cooperative model means that we give book lovers a chance to own a piece of the store and participate in its success. Our book selection is broad, with a focus on regional titles, but our bookselle

The next four days are packed with events at your favorite Downtown Billings bookstore that is on the 100 block of N. 29th St! (Too many bookstores downtown to really pick a single favorite...especially with being downtown-adjacent now!) Thursday (8/20) explore e. e. cummings with Shelley Ellis at 6pm, Friday (8/21) stop in for Open Poetry Night at 5:30pm, Saturday (8/22) Edie Vogel will be signing books during Farmers Market, and Sunday (8/23) is our Summer Reading Pizza Party at noon (all ages are welcome!) and The Magic of Medieval Manuscripts at 2pm.
