This week! One of my kidsā€™ favorite projects: Recycled Paper Paintings! Itā€™s tactile, messy fun!

There is a 1:30 session on Wednesday for kids to teens to adults! Thursday morning at 9:30 is for the littles with their adult. Registration is needed by Monday night so that I can prep our ā€œpaintā€ on Tuesday.

Some old favorites and some new classes! Be sure to check them out and get yourself signed up!

Those recycled paper paintings, SO FUN. We mix color into paper pulp and press the ā€œpaintā€ onto a canvas. Itā€™s messy, but delightful! When the paper pulp dries, it becomes a hard, textured artwork.

Art-a-la-Cart is something new Iā€™m trying this month! With school starting, it was too challenging to find a good time for art club, so weā€™ll just open up the studio for a few hours for anyone that wants to come and explore.

Come paint a cornfield during Cornfest weekend! Youā€™ll learn so new techniques in this guided painting, and use lots of layers to help build depth.

I *think* sheā€™s doneā€¦ time to sit with her a couple of days and decide if there are any areas that need improvingā€¦ I added the color over the weekend, wasnā€™t happy with it, then added some colored pencilā€¦ Iā€™m happy with it, but I know there are areas I could have done differently/better.

Gave myself permission to work on this over the weekend. Itā€™s tough, I technically run 2 different businesses (Moon & Back Art Studios and Big Stone Commons), and itā€™s so tempting to reply right away to each message, stop and do that one extra little thing, work on this, then thatā€¦. On weekends, Iā€™m trying very hard to enjoy some forced relaxation and art time. Itā€™s kind of working. šŸ˜†
