Not Chartering this summer has been tough for me… BUT Yesterday I got to be “Deckhand Overlord” on the “Josie Whales” and Captian Shane put me on a Wolf Fish! Commonly mistaken for Wolf Eel. There are 5 species of Wolf Fish and this is the first I’ve ever seen in person. Thousands of hours Charter fishing out of Valdez caught and seen the Gray longer slender “Wolf Eel” but never one of these.

(And yes… all the Clients got great Halibut!)
