4 years. Thousands of tunes. Countless laps.
What started as a small setup turned into something way bigger than I ever expected. This was my last full season before heading off to college, and it’s hard to put into words what this has meant to me.
To everyone who trusted me with their gear, came back each season, and told their friends… thank you. The regulars especially, you built this with me.
Altitude Tuning will be closing April 17th, 2026.
Next season will look different. I’ll be back for a short winter break session, and spots will be very limited. Returning customers will get first access before anything opens publicly.
Regulars, be on the lookout for a text, email, or letter. I’ll be reaching out with a thank you and exclusive access for next season.
This isn’t the end, just a change.

Flakes were falling today and customers are still out skiing. April 7th… yeah, seriously.

So glad I got to spend some time with the boys from Troop 24 in Salem last week! I hosted a tuning clinic to dive into the nuts and bolts of a proper tune-up. It wasn’t just about fixing things, though; it was about showing these guys how to take care of their own gear so they’re ready for whatever the trail throws at them. Thank you Troop 24 for letting me hang out for a bit!

Looking back on 2025 and feeling incredibly grateful.

This year was all about growth. We set new business records, took on new partnerships, added rental ski tuning contracts, and continued building strong relationships with partners like East Regiment, Local Noon, Ski Bradford, Warren Miller, and Hamilton Ski Sale. Behind the scenes, the shop stayed busy nonstop, working tirelessly to keep up with tunes and daily conversations with customers who trust Altitude Tuning with their gear. As I head into 2026, this will be my final few months of the season running the basement shop, before I leave for college in the fall. Thank you to everyone who supported Altitude Tuning and helped make 2025 such a big year. Happy New Year.🎊

🔧 What sets us apart

Many shops do a quick, cosmetic base grind that only makes skis look clean. We perform a true base reset with precision grinding and flatness checks so the base is fully prepared to absorb wax.
We finish every tune with a hot hand wax instead of a quick machine wax. A hand wax lasts longer and delivers smoother glide and better speed.

🍺 Brewskis & Boards at East Regiment

We are also running our Brewskis & Boards tune nights at East Regiment Beer Company for the last time. This event runs from December through February every Thursday from 5 to 8 PM. You can relax with a beer and food while we tune your gear.

Flipping on the lights, firing up the machines, and getting ready for another winter never gets old. This little shop is where early mornings, late nights, and a whole lot of passion come together. Every ski and board that comes through the door has a story, and bringing beat-up, scraped, or slow gear back to life is still one of the best feelings.

There’s a rhythm to the work, a calm in the chaos, and a satisfaction in seeing perfect bases and sharp edges roll out of the machines. Nothing beats being part of someone’s best days on the mountain. Here’s to fresh tunes, fresh snow, and another season on the way. ❄️🔧⛷️🏂
