The Door Mouse would like to thank all of you for your condolences and wonderful memories of Mary Ann. She created a job that she truly loved, and took joy in sharing her love of quilting with others. Mary Ann and her employees created a space that many of us found inspiring and comforting.
After receiving many requests asking us to reopen The Door Mouse, the "Mice" have reunited. At this time, The Door Mouse will be reopened to the public for four Fridays and Saturdays in July beginning on Friday, July 9th. Towards the end of July, we will publish additional dates and times. The following are the dates and times for July. We look forward to seeing our fellow quilters again!

Yesterday, the quilting world lost a very special lady, my mom, the owner of The Door Mouse. Mary Ann shared her passion for quilting with many for over 40 years. She had an eye for fabrics and always knew where the perfect fabric was. If it wasn't on the shelf, she would find it in her personal stash. She loved to give to others.
She will be greatly missed! I love you mom!

Mary Ann Sorg, 70, of Tiffin, passed away, Monday, November 9, 2020 at her residence. She was born March 18, 1950 in Tiffin, the daughter of Norbert and Loyola Hoffman DeVanna. Mary was a 1968 graduate of Lakota High. On April 23, 1971 she married William Sorg at Millersville St.

Check out these two new patterns. Aspen from Laundry Basket Quilts makes a 88” x 88” snowflake. Circa 1880 Nine Patch from Heartspun Quilts makes a 71” x 77” scrap quilt that will use you smallest scraps. Those little devils are 2” finished!
We have the Sew Simple Shapes for Lori Holt’s Prim quilt.
