Ironed a stack of fabric I've been holding onto for years, to make something for myself. With Joann Fabrics going out of business, my place for fabric and supplies at a reasonable price will be gone. I've decided to finally make something projects I've held aside for myself and my family, and will close my shop for good. Time for some change, and the end of a chapter.

To get back into sewing a bit, I decided to start small and make a patchwork curtain for my closet. Using all scraps from years of quilting. No color plans, no thought to my choices, just chose fabric scraps large enough to make 4 & 1/2” squares. This is probably about half the size I’ll need for the curtain. Ran out of floor space. Hoping this year, to finally get to a long list of projects, that I’ve had fabric saved for, since 2011!
