Meet Tjay!

Tjay is a young local skater & artist. Over the weekend he came in and asked if we had any old boards that he could have. Tjay usually skates and sketches at the ‘Za and said he was inspired to stop at the shop over the weekend by some locals he met. Thankfully we had some used boards laying around & hooked him up. But had him promise to stop back when he was done with his piece.

Little did we know he’d stop by just a few days later. In his own words he said “I figured I’d commit to it because- why not?”. This is why we do it. Thank you to the skaters at the Za for sending him our way & thank you to everyone who helps make our community a safe place 🫶🏽

maybe we can get an art show going this summer so Tjay can show off some more of his art? 🤞🏽
