As the year comes to an end, I just really want to say thank you thank you thank you!!!
Spa Threads launched in 2025 with a lot of hope, a lot of nerves, and honestly a lot of “what am I doing?” moments, and I am so grateful for all the moments I have had thus far. Every order, message, share, and kind word truly means more than I can explain.
Getting to see my linens in your treatment rooms is something I’ll never take for granted. I’m so grateful for everyone who chose to support my small business this year. (srsly I have cried happy tears from sweet emails, messages, and voicemails).
So thankful for how far this has come and so excited for what’s next 🤍✨

It’s not a secret that I love to use Dawn Power Wash to help get oil out of sheets, and my clothing!
However, I feel like I use a TON of it. So here is a cost saving way to make your own dawn power wash at home!

Ingredients:
1 ¾ cups (approx. 14 fl oz) distilled water
4 tablespoons (¼ cup) Dawn Platinum dish soap (blue is standard, but I prefer free & clear)
1 ½ tablespoons 70% isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol

Instructions:
Pour the distilled water into a clean, empty spray bottle first to help prevent excessive sudsing when other ingredients are added.
Add the Dawn dish soap and the rubbing alcohol.
Apply the spray top and gently tip the bottle back and forth to combine the ingredients. Do not shake vigorously, as this will create too many bubbles.
For best results, some sources recommend letting the mixture sit for a few hours to allow everything to meld.

Tips for Success
Use distilled water: Tap water contains minerals that can leave streaks.
Use the original bottle: The unique spray nozzle on the actual Dawn Powerwash bottle is key to creating the signature foam.
Leave an inch of room for the sprayer.
91% isopropyl alcohol can also be used!
Pour Slowly through the funnel
