A small update. I’ve been updating my listing of books on-line over the last few weeks, and have added about 400 since the shop went dark.

Of course, I’d get more done if it weren’t for sleepy kitties.

I am still buying books, though much more carefully. Drop me a note if you have anything good.

As far as I know, I am a go for both the Picker’s Fest and the Bluemont Fair, though I have not heard back from either poc for a while.

I remember going there in 1977 when I was in school at Ft. Devens. Nice shop.

They were smart to buy the building.

still packing and clearing at ye olde book shoppe. yes, it is a pain. :(

took about 10 boxes of books to local on-line auctioneer and they are going up for auction today. bid early and often... :)

still looking for a home...

in the meantime, still have 3,000+ books on the Berryville Old Book Shop site at AbeBooks, and planning on setting up at the Picker's Fest the second week of September and the Bluemont Fair the third weekend in September.

If Barbara from Loudoun Is on here, I do have the album. We just need to figure out a good time I’ll be open. I will be open tomorrow, though in and out. Should be there from noon until rest of day if that works.

The plan for Saturday’s and Sunday’s closing sale:
All Remaining books in the second (back) room, including 100+ mysteries, 50+ science fiction, and about 1,200 children’s books, are priced at $1 for hardcovers and $0.50 for softcovers. All CD’s are $0.50.
In the first (from) room, all books are $2 for hardcover and $1 for softcover ($0.50 for small paperbacks). Vinyl $1. Cards $0.50.
Am guessing there are about 2,ooo books in the first room. There are a few books on the floor marked with Not for Sale signs. Please ask if not sure.

Cash preferred.
Credit cards accepted.
Bags appreciated.
Planning to open at 11:00 and remain open until 5 on Saturday.
Sunday plans are Noon-4.
