Honestly though, most people around here learn one project at a time!

That’s part of why quilt kits have become so popular in the shop lately. Everything is already coordinated for you, which makes starting feel a whole lot less overwhelming.

You just pick something you love and begin.

We’re still smiling thinking about the Sassy Sunflower trunk show from last month!!🌻

A huge thank you to Julia from Sassy Sunflower for traveling all the way from Georgia to spend the day with us here in Bernardston!

The shop was full of quilts, creativity, conversations, and so many people excited to learn something new. It was such a fun day, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came out and supported the event.

Moments like these are exactly why we love building this community here at the shop. 💛

We’ve been loving these quilt kits lately! 🧵

Choosing fabrics and patterns can feel a little overwhelming sometimes, and quilt kits make it so much easier because everything is already pulled together for you.

If you’ve ever seen a One Block Wonder quilt and wondered how people make them… this is your chance to learn!

Our Beginner One Block Wonder Quilt class is happening this Saturday, June 13, here at the shop.

A One Block Wonder quilt is made from just one fabric print, cut and pieced together into beautiful kaleidoscope-style designs. No two quilts ever come out the same, which is part of what makes them so fun!

Janice and Ellen will walk students through the process step by step, making this a great class for anyone wanting to try something new.

Thursday Open Sew is ready for you! ✂️🧵

And this weekend is a busy one around the shop because we have TWO classes happening back to back!

On Saturday, June 6, we’ll be hosting our T-Shirt Quilt class with Debbie Piela, where students will learn how to turn meaningful t-shirts into personalized quilts they can actually use and keep for years to come.

Then on Sunday, June 7, we’ll be hosting our Mending & Upcycling Workshop with Noava, focused on visible mending, sashiko embroidery, and giving old clothes a second life instead of throwing them away!

Both classes are beginner-friendly and hands-on, and both require registration through our website ahead of time.
