We extend our congratulations 👏👏👏to all participants in our Beginners Sewing program. 🪡🧶✂️🧵

This week, we began with an unboxing session, followed by threading instruction, and subsequently, participants completed various sewing projects utilizing the accessories provided with their sewing machines. The projects included scrunchies, key fobs, aprons, and final project was the creation of a sewing machine mat.

All participants not only took home their completed sewing projects but also received the sewing machines to further develop their skills.

We express our gratitude to everyone for their participation and to the Tamaya organization for the opportunity to contribute to this sewing initiative. I thoroughly enjoyed my time collaborating with you.

🧵 New Pueblo Dresses Sewing Workshop dates have been added!

Join us for this intermediate-level sewing class and continue building your skills while creating alongside fellow community members.

📅 Workshop Dates:
• Monday, June 8, 2026
• Saturday, June 20, 2026

Priority will be given to Santa Ana Pueblo tribal members; however, the workshop is also open to surrounding Pueblo communities.

Space is limited, so be sure to register by:
• June 4 for the June 8 class
• June 12 for the June 20 class

Participants selected through a lottery drawing will be notified via text message.
