My mother was the craftiest crafter who ever crafted. She put Martha to shame, always making everything from scratch with so. much. love. Sadly, my mother has early onset advanced Alzheimer’s and is no longer able to create the way she used to. She passed on her love of crafting and skill set to her daughters, each one of us picking up something a little different from her expertise. From homemaking, to cooking, to bookkeeping, scheduling, crocheting, knitting, painting, and drawing, she really did it all. It’s such a blessing to have had her as a mother.

When I was about 9 she taught me how to crochet. I picked it up quick but as a 9 year old, quickly lost interest. When my oldest nephew was born, I picked it back up to make him a blanket. From then on, I’ve never had a moment where I didn’t have a crochet project (or two or three) in the works, and nothing makes me happier than a good yarn sale!

I love all things crafts and try to find inspiration in odds and ends to make new, eclectic pieces for the home. Over the years, I’ve taken custom requests for items on a semi-regular basis and one thing I’m constantly told is, “You should have your own store!” Well, here goes nothing!
