Hello, everyone- we've noticed that on weekdays, we are busiest from 3-5, so we're shifting our hours so everyone has a bit more time to shop at Mr. Mopps' after school or work or wherever you all come from at that time! Starting June 1st, Mr. Mopps' will be open from 11-6 weekdays, and our weekend hours will remain the same: 10-5. Hopefully this will give us more time before we close for the night to help you find the perfect book or toy for the kiddo(s) in your life, or... Who are we kidding here? Maybe even the adults, including you! ❤️

Hey everyone! Have you ever tried to come by the shop on a Monday only to find that we're not open? Well, guess what? We are now open SEVEN DAYS A WEEK for the people! Mr. Mopps' is proud to announce our new hours: 10-5 every day. Come say hi! ❤️

Hello, everyone! It seems as if school auction season is fast approaching.

If your school has an auction coming up, we'll donate a $50.00 gift card to it. We know it's not much, but hopefully it helps! As parents of a first grader, we know the schools can use every bit of support they can get.

We also offer an in-store fundraiser at our book shop where we donate 20% of book sales over the course of a week to the PTA at your school.

If you'd like to take us up on either or both of those things, please give me a call at the shop: (510)525-9633 and we'll sort it out or next time you're at the shop, ask for me and we'll talk. Emails fall by the wayside and get lost in the shuffle, and we'd really like to help, so holler at me and let's do this! ❤ (-Devin)

Happy holidays, everyone! Mr. Mopps' is closed today in observance of a day off. But! Starting this weekend, we are expanding our hours to include Sundays- a schedule we hope to continue even after the holiday season.

Just in time for Halloween. Limited edition (who am I kidding we're probably gonna be making these things forever lol) "Mister Mopps" black metal logo stickers are now available at the shop. (Come get some if you like- they're free!)

Anyone interested in a t-shirt of this? Considering a small run of this wicked awesome gnarly abomination. Some of our friends have been asking us to make some, so we thought we'd just throw it out there. They would be pre-order only for now.
