I know some of my hunting friends think that hunting on a ranch that is high fenced is not hunting.
I say this, try hunting on a 11,000 ac ranch that has a perimeter high fence with cattle, goats and horses and do not have food plots , and the Axis dear and Black bucks don't come to feeders live just off of what grows wild there.
Hiking 4 to 9 miles a day to get your shot at a trophy Axis. You might enjoy it
