Last week, Reca Mainetti, the company’s luxury division, attended Packaging Première in Milan – the annual event bringing together packaging brands, designers, and industry experts to share ideas shaping the future of the sector.

Mainetti Italia showcased our Spring/Summer 2027 collection, including new luxury packaging lines including paper-based hangers, wood hangers, shopping and gift bags, and polybags.

It was great to connect with customers, partners, and industry leaders to showcase our work in sustainable, premium packaging – from circular design to bespoke solutions.

We’re delighted to share that Century Box Mainetti has been shortlisted for the Cosmetics Business Innovation Awards! This is in the ‘Best Secondary Packaging Innovation’ category.

The recognition celebrates our recent work in sustainable cosmetics packaging, an area we’ve been expanding throughout 2026 as beauty brands increasingly seek solutions that combine standout shelf appeal with strong sustainability credentials. Mainetti innovations in this space include a fully glue-free packaging solution and a premium mono-material packaging concept that pairs luxury decoration with a simplified material structure that enhances recycling capabilities.

It’s fantastic to see this progress recognized by respected industry platform Cosmetics Business. The final winners will be announced on June 4th. We’re excited to see how the awards unfold!

This month, Mainetti India proudly marked its 65th anniversary alongside the Annual Awards & Celebration Ceremony 2026 - a milestone celebrating decades of excellence and innovation across the company.

The event honored employees for their long-standing dedication, including several remarkable service milestones of over 25 years. It was a proud moment to recognize the people whose commitment and passion continue to shape Mainetti India’s legacy and success.

Dressed in traditional attire, employees also brought the celebration to life with vibrant performances and Thiruvizha-inspired activities, capturing the spirit of community and cultural pride across the Mainetti family.

‘Mainetti Powered by FiberCore™’ is a joint venture that combines Ekoligens’ proprietary FiberCore™ cellulose dry-forming technology with Mainetti’s design expertise and global commercial network. This partnership marks another step in Mainetti’s ongoing commitment to delivering sustainable, innovative solutions for the retail industry.

Mainetti Benelux debuted its new location in Helmond, Netherlands and held a celebration to commemorate 65 years in business at the Grand Opening. Roberto Peruzzo, CEO of Mainetti, was on hand to lead the dedication ceremony. Since our founding by the Mainetti brothers in May of 1961, the company has grown to be a packaging leader throughout Northern Europe. From our paper packaging experts at Century Box Mainetti in Belgium, to Mainetti’s luxury hanger experts in Germany, colleagues came together from across the EU to raise a glass to 65 years of serving customers in the region. Everyone had the opportunity to enjoy a tour of our beautiful new space and plenty of local treats.

We are proud to share the news of our latest opening in Holland, a country and region that remains integral to our history and our future success.

Happy Founders’ Day!

Sixty-five years ago – in San Quirico, Italy – Romeo, Gianni, Luigi and Mario Mainetti started a little company with a big dream. Recognizing the need for practical, affordable garment hangers, the Mainetti brothers invented the first plastic hanger – an ergonomic, high-quality design built for mass production.

From those beginnings, we’ve grown into a trusted partner to leading retailers, manufacturers and brands worldwide, delivering sustainable packaging solutions, from paper-based and plastic-free hangers to 100% recycled polybags that can be used again and again with our pioneering Polyloop process. Across 90 locations and 6 continents, our 6,000 colleagues continue to embody the same customer-first mindset that defined our founders.

Today, we celebrate the vision of the Mainetti brothers and the generations of people who have carried it forward.

Recently, our global teams came together in Huế, Vietnam for this year’s Happy Mainetti Retreat!

Under the theme “Growing as One”, the retreat brought together 37 Mainetti leaders from Mexico, China and Vietnam for a series of reflective and interactive sessions. Now in its fourth year, the program focused on strengthening leadership capability and embedding greater wellbeing into everyday working life.

Launched in 2022, Happy Mainetti was created to champion employee wellbeing and reinvest in the people who drive our business forward. Since then, the initiative has helped increase our employee wellbeing index from 78% in 2023 to 87% in 2025.

Thank you to everyone who took part in this year's Retreat – we're already looking forward to the next one!
