Lots of big changes going on around here! I accepted an instrument repair position at the Richmond branch of Miles Ahead Music. Everyone has been great so far, and I'm very happy to be a part of it. Drop by and see me sometime!

If I'm not there when you come around, I'll be in the shop of Pickett Brass, working with the new acquisition of Blackburn Trumpets. I've been training with Cliff Blackburn for some time, spinning bells and assembling valve casings. I'm super excited to do my best to carry on the craftsmanship!

To all of our friends, family, and students involved- have a wonderful KMEA Conference! There are some great concerts happening over the next few days, and a special shout out goes to all ensembles from Madison County performing!

We hope that everyone has had a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving! Families come in all shapes and sizes- the best thing is to be surrounded by love of every kind, and to realize that we all have things to be very thankful for! Safe travels to everyone if you're on the road, and here's to another blessing-filled year.

Thanks to Pete Larue for bringing his Georgetown College students down to learn about emergency instrument repairs! We loved having them in the shop, and they did a great job!

Master trumpet player, amazing teacher, and wonderful person Vince DiMartino showed up at our shop today to pick up his horns! Greg repaired an 1870's rotary cornet and a B flat balanced Bach Strad - replaced the receiver and finger hook, as well as straightened and resized the venturi. We are grateful and blessed to have Vince as a friend and colleague. Thanks, Vince!

If you're looking for us in Old Town these days, you'll see a sign saying we've moved! We are now located at the repair shop out back of our house! We don't have road signs because we're in a residential area, so if you have instrument repair needs, just give us a call, email, or message- we'll make an appointment with you and give you directions on how to get here!
