After a couple years away from the walleye grounds due to really bad knee problems and surgeries, we are back at it and doing well. I will be chasing these tasty gold nuggets for the next few months along with a few sturgeon trips and Yakima Canyon drift boat trips with the fly rods mixed in. The new Rainshadow Immortal IMMWS62MXF 6'2" 6-15 # walleye jigging rods put in some work today. I have built a few of these for customers now and the overall consensus is "THESE THINGS ARE AMAZING, SO LIGHT IN THE HAND THAT I CAN JIG ALL DAY LONG WITH NO FATIGUE." I have to 💯 % agree. Even in 100' of water with just a 5/8 Oz jig you can still feel everything on the bottom and more important those really light bitters. Was 6 for 9 today. Caught them bouncing corkies and yarn, Centerpin with beads, and Bobber Do***ng.
