What kinds of books would you like to see when we open?

We currently carry new and used books. Genres include: fantasy, romance, YA, Christian, horror, sci-fi, nonfiction, and a mix of genres.

We have A LOT of shelves to fill, so send us some of your favorite authors or titles!

We've been keeping a secret!

There’s something really special about holding the keys to a dream you’ve worked so hard for. ❤️

What started as a small vendor booth inside Kaitlyn’s Consignment Thrift Boutique last September has grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined. I’ll forever be grateful to Kaitlyn for believing in me early, supporting The Local Chapter, and giving this dream a place to begin. None of this would be possible without that first opportunity.

And now… we’re turning the page to our next chapter.

I’m so excited to officially introduce Chelsea as my business partner as we bring The Local Chapter to life as Benson’s first and only independent bookstore!

Yes, there will be books — LOTS of books — but we’re building so much more than shelves and stories. We’re creating a cozy place to slow down, meet friends, discover new authors, attend events, sip coffee or wine, and feel at home.

A place for readers. A place for conversation. A place for community.

This little dream is becoming real, and we cannot wait to open our doors and share it with all of you.

The best chapters are the ones shared together.

In the meantime, you can still find all the best books at Kaitlyn's located at 306 S. Wall St. in Benson! We can't wait to see y'all! 🖤📚
