Dear Bendites,

After five years, we have decided to close our current retail location downtown and start the next phase of Expedition Club & Supply. We are packing up our gear, folding up our maps, and preparing for the next adventure. Please stop by for our moving sale until we close on March 2nd starting at 25% off all items, bundle deals for more savings, and some great demo optics. After March 2nd, we will still be here, but switch to online sales and local delivery.

As many of you know, we were supposed to open our doors in March of 2020. Like many small businesses, we’ve been navigating current events ever since. With our lease ending, the combination of post-Covid shifts and new tariff realities made continuing in this space untenable for us. I love selling telescopes and teaching you how to use them over the years, and we will still have star parties and outdoor workshops in the future.

This challenge has given us a chance to refocus on why we started Expedition Club in the first place: for experiences, not just things. Our landlord continues to be incredibly supportive, so this is not the usual case of rent suddenly going through the roof. We hope to find a new home that allows us to continue to build community, host events, and truly gather as a club, but for a bit less overhead. Our beloved Map Room is a unique space full of tools to plan adventures and learn about the natural world in Central Oregon. Saturday: 11–6
Sunday: 11–2
Monday: 11–7
Tuesday: 11–7
Closed Wednesday and Thursday to set up our warehouse and new office.
Friday: 11–7
