📊 Hive Stability in Action – Humidity Matters! 🐝

Here in Bend, Oregon, we put our AAC Beehive to the test, and the results speak for themselves.

🔶 The orange line shows the stable humidity inside the hive, maintained around 50–55%.
⚫ The dotted line shows wild swings in outdoor humidity, ranging from below 20% to over 90%.

Why does this matter?
🌡️ Consistent humidity is crucial for healthy brood development and bee survival.
💨 Our AAC hive provides insulation and breathability to keep conditions steady, and the bees do their part too, ventilating the hive as needed to maintain ideal humidity levels.

Proof in the Numbers: AAC Beehive vs. Traditional Hive 🐝🌡️

Yesterday morning at 5:30 AM, with an outside temperature of just 34°F:

Wooden Hive (Langstroth): 67.9°F, 74% humidity
AAC Hive: 96.7°F, 64% humidity

Even on a chilly morning, our AAC Beehive held a warm, stable environment—ideal for brood health and colony survival. Less energy spent by the bees means a healthier, stronger hive!
