Caught in the warm glow of glittering lights, diyas, and lanterns which fill the sky, it could only be Diwali.

This five day celebration is a beautiful time for Hindu, Sikhs, Jains, and some Buddhists to celebrate with loved ones in India and all over the world 🌎 The festival of lights is rich with stunning traditional dress, delicious meals, mouth watering sweets, and the exchange of gifts, all under the celestial sparkle of candles, lamps, and fireworks ✨

Diwali is a time to reflect on one’s life, past deeds, and making the right changes for the upcoming year. The celebration of giving and forgiving marks the birth of a new and rejuvenated soul. Diwali is about uniting people from every corner, religion, and caste. It's about creating strength and zeal to carry on with one’s work and goodwill for the rest of the year, and illuminating one’s inner self.

This year at Lush, our Inventors worked with a group of Lush staff who celebrate Diwali to uncover the themes and messages that are woven into the celebration. Our special products Rangoli Dreams bath bomb and The Light In All Of Us knot wrap were inspired by the festival of lights, with their vibrant colours and designs.
