Happy Weekend Everyone! We have a lot coming up this summer so we thought it was a good time for an update!

Today and this week, we will be hosting events from Bandai TCG, specifically the Prerelease for One Piece TCG OP-16! We have started to host Bandai Events on Tuesdays and Saturdays, this weekend is the start of a series of 6-Pack Sealed Events. Starting at 4pm on Saturdays and 5pm on Tuesdays. Theses events will be priced at $40, you will receive 6 packs to make a deck, we have a leader card if you need one to represent all captains and colors, and loads of promos for all attendees handed out after round 2, details can be found on our Accidentally Cool Games Event Calendar, and the Bandai TCG+ App.

Second, coming in from Games Workshop! We have the upcoming release for Games Workshops 11th Edition of Warhammer 40,000, the release box is currently available for Presale in-store, come visit for details! Welcome to Secrets of Strixhaven Prerelease Weekend!

We're just a few minutes from opening, and we're studying up for an incredible continuation of Magic: The Gathering Prerelease Weekend—Secrets of Strixhaven edition!

What a showing we had last night! 68 "students" returned to campus, representing their school spirit. Lorehold, Silverquill, Quandrix, Witherbloom, and Prismari colleges engaged in an incredible 3-round display of arcane talent, challenging one another to duels of wizardry and magic!

Today we continue our Prerelease schedule with two events—a traditional Sealed Deck 1 VS 1 ($40) event at 11:00 AM; did we mention there will be donuts and coffee?! Then later, we invite you to PAIR UP and form a mighty TWO-HEADED GIANT ($40) that will battle against other teams in our final event of the day, hosted at 4:00 PM.

We've also got lots of Secrets of Strixhaven booster boxes, bundles, commander decks, and theme decks available for purchase... but they're going fast!

Due to the weather today we have decided to close early and keep things simple for everyone. This will cancel any other upcoming events for the rest of the evening! Happy Friday Everyone, just a few upcoming things here at the store front!

- First, we have begun to keep a majority of our information with regards to our store and event scheduling to AccidentallyCoolGames.com, we have updated our webstore to better reflect our inventory, upcoming preorders. As well we have added links or buttons, on the top and bottom of our site to easily direct people to our Event Calendar. Our Event Calendar is our most up to date resource for activities happening at Accidentally Cool Games.

- We have also done our best to facilitate a place for community members to reach out, find play groups, schedule games, etc. It is currently hosted via Discord, we also do some updating on products and releases as well. The link can also be found at the bottom of our webpage at AccidentallyCoolGames.com

- Recently we have begun a Escalation League for Warhammer 40,000, as an opportunity for easy access to new players to meet other local players and hobbyists, meeting on Saturdays, we will also be hosting our next in-store tournament in the coming weeks, all our Warhammer details can be found on our Event Calendar!

- We also have included open space for TCG’s and Tabletop games to our schedule for most Tuesdays and Saturdays going forward, exclusions being special Events for our various supported games, all can be found on our Event Calendar as well.

- Next Month we will see the release of our next Magic: The Gathering Set, Secrets of Strixhaven, arriving in store on April 17, 2026, along side our usual 3 rounds of Prerelease Events, all products are currently available for preorder via our webstore!

Happy Friday Everyone!

This is just a reminder that we do first come first served on our Prerelease event's and this one is looking to be very busy! So if you are planning on doing our Box League or Prerelease Event, space is limited.

We have improved our back room space but unfortunetly are still waiting on our delivery of chairs so some space will be standing room only, we look forward to seeing everyone this evening, have and excellent day and thank you for your time!

Happy New Year Everyone!

We just wanted to start out by saying thank you for an excellent 2025, from the many releases, and numerous events hosted by us here, it has been an absolute privilege to see you all week after week, from friendly newcomers to our fantastic regulars, we truly cannot thank you all enough. We look forward to 2026, with plans to improve our event space to fit more people as we grow, to host events with opportunities for people to find community and spend time doing the things they enjoy. We will continue to do our best here at the store to give the best service and keep the shelves briming with ideas for any imagination.

For the start of this year we will be changing things up a little bit for one of our most regular events here at the store. The Magic: The Gathering Prerelease Events, will now be broken down into a new type of schedule.

For the release of Lorwyn Eclipsed on 01/16/17, we will be hosting 3 rounds as we always have, however we will just be running Round 1 on Friday night and will host Rounds 2 and 3 on Saturday, ending the final round as Two-Headed Giant.

This means we will be running Magic: The Gathering from Open to Close on Saturday Prerelease Weekends, with this we do say goodbye to our old schedule that ran until 2am on Friday into Saturday Morning, we appreciate everyone who has attended over the years and the memories included, this new event will also roll over our Pokémon Adventures for all Prereleases this year.
