Hey friends,

Unfortunately, I have some disappointing news. Due to the severe storms, I’ve been without power for more than 36 hours and wasn’t able to finish making the candles I planned to bring to the Vermilion County Pride Festival today.

As a result, LH Candle Co. will not be set up at the event.

This is especially heartbreaking because Pride is one of our favorite events of the year. As an LGBTQ-owned business and a proud sponsor of this year’s festival, we were so excited to spend the day celebrating with all of you and supporting an event that means so much to our community.

While we won’t be there in person, I still encourage everyone to come out and support the festival and all of the amazing artists, vendors, entertainers, and organizations that make this event possible. Your support helps ensure Pride continues to thrive in our community for years to come.

The good news is that you can still place your orders online, and I’ll be working hard to get everything caught up as soon as power is restored.

Thank you all for your continued support, patience, and understanding. It truly means the world to this small business. I’m incredibly disappointed to miss seeing everyone today, but I know it’s going to be a wonderful event, and I can’t wait to be back with you next year.

Hey friends! Just a quick update—I promise I’m working on your orders!

Unfortunately, I’m currently without power, so I’m unable to use any of my equipment and print shipping labels. On top of that, a large tree came down in my front yard and is blocking my driveway, so I can’t get out at the moment.

As soon as I’m able, I’ll get everything packed up and delivered to the carriers as quickly as possible. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. I truly appreciate each and every one of you.

OMG... I'M BACK! 🎉

First of all, thank you all so much for your patience over the last few weeks!

Life has changed A LOT lately. As many of you know, I recently purchased a new home, which meant I had to temporarily pause candle production while moving every single jar, fragrance oil, label, box, and piece of equipment to its new home.

The good news? It was absolutely worth it.

I went from working in roughly 100 square feet of candle-making space to a full-blown 600-square-foot studio! 🤯✨ I finally have room to spread out, stay organized, and continue growing LH Candle Co. in ways I've only dreamed about.

A huge shoutout goes to my parents and my brother for helping make this move possible. There is no way I could have done it without them, and I'm so grateful for all of their hard work and support.

Most importantly, thank YOU for sticking with me during this transition. Your support means more than you'll ever know.

As an LGBTQ-owned business, it is so important to us to support and represent the LGBTQ community and the community we call home. Events like Pride Fest create a safe, welcoming space for everyone to come together, celebrate love, support local artists, and simply be themselves.

Just a quick reminder that LH Candle Co. will be closed beginning tomorrow, May 22nd through June 10th. All orders placed up to today will ship by May 26th.

Something exciting is happening behind the scenes, and while I’m not ready to share all the details just yet, I promise it is going to be so worth it. More space, more opportunity, and more room for LH Candle Co. to keep growing.

I wanted to give everyone a heads up that LH Candle Co. will be closed from May 22nd through June 10th.

I can’t share all the details just yet, but this little pause is for something very exciting that is going to pay off in the long run. Think more space, more room to create, and even more growth for LH Candle Co.

This right here is one of my favorite parts of owning LH Candle Co.

I love getting out to vendor events, meeting so many wonderful people, and helping customers find a scent they absolutely fall in love with. There’s nothing better than seeing someone smell a candle and instantly say, “This is the one.”

Since I don’t have a storefront of my own, vendor events are the next best thing. They give me the opportunity to bring LH Candle Co. directly to you and connect with customers face to face.

Vendor season is just getting started, and I can’t wait to see where the road takes us this year.
