THE BACK UPDATE. I know you youve been waiting for this so here it goes. So took a look at my MRI still broken but healing. I get to lose my back brace. Huzzah. Thats the good news. Bad news. My vertebrae at L5 has a close to crushed nerve. Causing my limping and more pain than the broken part. This is not a great surprise its been bad for years and its ultimately the reason I’ve been losing weight in case of surgery. So he wants to delay this very intense painful surgery as long as he can. So im getting an injection soon right into that nerve (horribly scared) to do a diagnostic test to make for sure that is the area that is root of my problems. Get it. Nerve. Root. Moving on. This might alleviate my symptoms completely telling them they have the tight spot. I might be able to get these injections for quite a while to control my pain. Also is quite sure i have bursitis on my right hip and is going to do a later injection into my hip to see if maybe my pain is just coming from here. Having dealt with this pain for tears now. I doubt thats the culprit. But as he said he wants to do his due diligence so he would know this is truly my surgery would be his last option. So not alot of solid answers but definitely more questions. If youve made it this far thank you. Ill keep you all updated. In august if i make faire ill be in fof a lot of the time to handle the pain.
So no quilting in the foreseeable future Makes my heart break. But who knows maybe with the injections i can sew and create art again.
