Out 2 Lunch was conceived by two women/friends/former health care professionals, turned at-home moms, looking for both personal artistic outlets as well as future career directions. Many cups of coffee, and several months later, the women discovered that numerous common threads ran through their lives. Both women spent a portion of their formative years in the southeastern United States. Both feel
a connection to the timeless lines and classic, functional elegance found throughout Southern events, decor, and fashion - formal and casual. Additionally, they share an eye for detail and an artistic spirit, tempered by the practicality of being women who wear many hats - not the least of which is mothers of young children. While the women's similarities form the structure of the business, it is their differences in personality, combined with vintage fabrics, jewelry, and other materials, which give the products their wide range of styles and appeal. As a result, Out 2 Lunch is a product line that ranges from classically elegant, Victorian, and retro styles to glam, edgy, and fun - often combined within the same item.
