Popcorn was once banned in movie theaters because people thought it was “too messy” and “low-class.”

Then the Great Depression hit… and popcorn became one of the affordable snacks that helped keep theaters alive.

Honestly, we can’t imagine movies without it 🍿✨

🚨 TIME TRAVEL ADVISORY 🚨

We’ve received reports of a suspicious silver vehicle traveling through downtown Belmont…

Witnesses say it was spotted near the clock tower, cruising down Main Street, and eventually stopping at Tastebuds to acquire several bags of popcorn. 👀🍿

Even more unusual? Mayor Joe Jordan was seen exiting the vehicle.

Coincidence?

We think not. ⚡

and will be showing Back to the Future this Saturday at Movies in the Park. The movie begins at 8:30 PM at Stowe Park, so make a stop on Main Street beforehand and stock up on your favorite movie-night snacks.

Because even if you have a time machine…

Today was a proud and meaningful day in Downtown Belmont as our community gathered for the unveiling of a beautiful mural, painted by Boyce McKinney, honoring Major William Chronicle, the South Fork Boys, and America’s upcoming 250th anniversary.

Tastebuds Popcorn was honored to support this project alongside the Belmont Historical Society and the Major william Major William Chronicle Chapter of the NSDAR. Moments like this remind us how special it is to live, work, and grow in a community that remembers its history, celebrates its people, and takes pride in the story of our country.

With gratitude for those who came before us, and pride in the place we call home. 🇺🇸
