Here's a bit of encouragement for those with bumped brains:

Can we, as adults, grow new neurons? Neuroscientist Sandrine Thuret says that we can, and she offers research and practical advice on how we can help our brains better perform neurogenesis—improving mood, increasing memory formation and preventing the decline associated with aging along the way.

My TBI memoir, A Quest for Tears: Surviving Traumatic Brain Injury, is nearly ready. Upcoming events include a live unboxing and cover reveal in early August, followed by a book launch at Village Books in Bellingham, WA on October 4, 2019, 7pm.

Stay tuned for info about the Facebook Live unboxing and other events. And, as always, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support of this project.

Thanks to each of you who has liked this page! I have an update: the memoir should be available by the end of March. I'll keep you posted. (Of course I will! I'm proud of the way this project is turning out.)

I am going to spend Sun-Tues on an editing retreat. I may take a break and go live, if anyone would want to ask about the book.

The page just hit 200 likes. Thank you for your support! Update soon, but not often enough to irritate you!

I'm ready to take this page live. My TBI book is in revision and will be out in early 2019. An advance reader says this:

"It's hard to put down (or away). I feel you being empathetic towards others and almost laughing at yourself, but it is all so REAL. I feel awards coming to you beyond recognition-your purpose in writing this is being well served."

Let me keep you up to date on the book's journey to publication. I would appreciate your support, perhaps a like and a page share as I push my brain to finish this important task. Thank you!
