Hello Aerides General Store friends and family,

I wanted to take a moment to share a few updates—and to say thank you, truly, for the continued love and support over the years.

Since 2022, Aerides General Store has been slowly evolving. Through market value research and listening closely, I’ve become even more aware of the lack of Native American representation in local farmers markets and grocery spaces for small-batch Indigenous food producers. That work has led me to proudly carry products from Native producers, including Red Lake Nation Foods and Seka Hills (Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation), and Pemmican Patty's protein bison snack bars.

Many of you also know I’ve been making handcrafted soaps, candles, and lip balms since 2017. Due to rising costs, candles and permanent lifestyle goods will no longer be part of the shop. Sugar scrubs and body oils and beard oils will still be made in small batches and offered seasonally during holidays, Mother’s Day, and summer.

At the heart of it all, sharing food remains central to what I do. In the coming months, I’ll be implementing and sharing content centered on Filipino cuisine—learned locally and thoughtfully fused with Indigenous spices, ingredients, and recommendations from different Tribal communities. This work is made possible by the trust and collaboration of Native producers across the U.S.
