Our final week feels a little bittersweet for us. 🥹

BITTER- knowing our business we poured so much heart and money into is closing before it had the chance to grow into what we imagined. 💔

SWEET- we’re probably caught up on our volunteering and charitable donations for the next five years... JK JK 🤣😘

This is our FINAL week of the liquidation sale at 3L Thrift Store and EVERYTHING IS FREE!! 😱🤯
Yes… you read that correctly. ABSOLUTELY FREE!! 🆓💯 And there is some seriously nice stuff left here!! 🤩
If you’re able to make a DONATION, we are incredibly grateful and happy to accept. But if you can’t, that’s okay too. Please come take whatever you need. 🫶🏽
We are so thankful for the support from our community and it feels GOOD to pay it forward in the best way we can. ♻️✨
After this weekend, 3L Thrift Store will be CLOSED indefinitely. While we still hope to find a new location (eventually) we’ll be taking the rest of the summer to rest, reevaluate, and spend some much needed family time together camping. 🏕️💚

One thing we have been asked a lot recently is “When did you even open?” 😅

It’s confusing because it feels like we are opening and closing at the same time. 🤪💔

We started working on a physical location for 3L Thrift Store in November 2025. We made calls, sent emails, asked questions, and tried to do everything the “right” way. But we had never done this before and didn’t realize how complicated commercial building regulations could be. 📞📋

After six months of work and deeply financially invested, we were told during our final inspection ((just one week before our grand opening)) we could not operate a retail store here without major renovations. 😞🚧

The final estimates were around $10,000 for architectural plans and another $120,000 in required renovations. 😳😱 We tried asking for other options like variances or exceptions, but ultimately there doesn’t seem to be a realistic path forward in this building. 💸🏢

So for now, our best option is to liquidate inventory quickly while we search for a new location to start over. 📦🔍

Our mission has always been to provide affordable secondhand goods, keep usable items out of landfills, and create something positive for our community. Even through all of the challenges, we’re proud that we’ve stayed true to our mission. ♻️✨💚

This chapter is ending soon but we don’t think the whole story is over yet. Thanks for supporting us and being the reason why we won’t give up!!! 🥰
