Ballot position: A2. When you come out to vote on May 8, vote for Liza M. Lopez for Belleville mayor.
I will stop this town’s overspending, which has led to unwarranted property tax increases. I will continue to work towards improving our schools as well as services for our aging population. We just passed a $48 million dollar referendum. I will assure that the process of rebuilding our schools goes through seamlessly, that we have a healthy relationship with our school district in order to repair the failing school infrastructures. Our children are our future and they deserve to learn in a bright atmosphere. I will continue to work in the best interest of our overall community. It is necessary to develop strong partnerships with county and state government in order to secure greater opportunities and programs for the common good of Belleville residents. The skills I possess will get us where we need to be in this town. Vote A2 - Lopez for Mayor on May 8, 2018.
