Are you wondering what makes this packaging sustainable? I use packaging from . Ashby Ro strives to have a positive ecological impact and be low to zero waste. All my packaging materials are 100 recycled materials and from as much post consumer waste as possible. Wonder what post consumer waste is?
♻️Post-consumer waste refers to recycled content that comes from materials that have already used by an end consumer or business. Printed copy paper, shipping boxes, milk cartons, and water bottles that have been used and then put into the recycling stream are all examples of post-consumer waste
That means everything YOU recycle 🥳

I could go more in-depth for you and I will in a video soon, but most importantly I wanted you to know that all boxes are accepted by all curbside recycling or you could compost them at home. Ideal I would love for you to reuse them a time or two🙃

For the polymailers & plastic flap and seal bags, they are made from 100% recycled materials:
● Recyclable with thin film, #4 recycle code. Thin film plastic recycling is available at most grocery and chain stores. Bring clean, dry bags and drop them off in bin.
● Dual peel and seal allows bags to be reused at least once before they are recycled
● Bags are not compostable, biodegradable or oxo/photo-biodegradable.

What we buy defines who we are. Are you going to buy endless amounts of plastic that wind up in land fills and leak chemical into the environment? There are many ways you can do your part. As a individual I strive to be a better version of myself everyday and as a business owner the triple bottom line is something i am incorporating as a core value. I consider social impacts, environmental impacts and economic impacts. Making a profit is NOT any only concern. Are you curious as to how I’m incorporating triple bottom line to my business?

💰A portion of every sale will be donated to in an effort plant more trees. I have a philanthropic heart and I will always be seeking endeavors like these to help incorporate into my business.

Sweater weather is right around the corner and I’m super excited to get into fall! 🍁 designed this super cute reusable tumbler for . I love that people are embracing reusable drinkware. Starbucks may not be allowing people to provide their cups due to health precautions, but they are still trying to do their part by going straw less. Might not seem like a big impact but it is. Can you imagine there is above 7.7 billion people on this planet and all the straws and cups that get thrown away on the daily🤔. That’s a whole lot of plastic ending up in landfill and our beautiful oceans. If baby step is what it take then so be it. Ditch the straw or ditch the plastic cups. DITCH something 🤣 start small and little by little practice being and 🌱

I’m always going to say this... what YOU do matters! Just cause it doesn’t seem like it doesn’t mean it isn’t true. If given the task I would bet it would be easy to list at least three things you already do that MAKE a difference. on top of that there are also at least three more you can easily change that will create a difference. Once you KNOW what your doing is making a difference then I hope you can encourage other to do the same. Honestly that’s my goal as well! I know in my heart what I am doing will and does make a difference. , right? 😉

I have to say this water bottle is the cutest! Being a dog mom of two, I’m a little bit jealous I didn’t do this same style for myself, but this project did inspire me to incorporate the AF into my sustainable brand. You may not think that you can make much of an impact, but you do! WE, as consumer, have the most power to change and manifest the best future outcomes for OUR world. Current global consumption patterns are unsustainable. How can we make it more sustainable? By being more conscientious in our consumer lifestyle decisions. It’s as simple as that! Nothing earth shattering that takes years of change or knowledge. Next time you go to to buy something, spend 5 extra minutes thinking about if you really need it, how long will it last, is it sustainable, is it meaningful, or did it harm someone in order to make it... better yet will it harm the planet when it’s disposed? 🧐food for thought.
